![]() By copying the "Properties" folder over, the program is able to find it and run properly after windows routes it through. That's because I think newer Windows OS automatically routes it through System32, since that's where the default screensavers are stored. ![]() But when you apply it as your screensaver, it crashes. So when you run it manually from the game files, it works. What I think is happening is: the screensaver only works if the "Properties" folder is in the same folder as the screensaver file. ![]() I've tested it thoroughly and it works like a charm, stays synced with the game. ![]() Go back to the local files for the game and run "Insaniquarium.scr" This will open your screensaver settings and automatically add the screensaver. Paste the "Properties" Folder into your System32 folder and SysWOW64 folder. Go into "Browse Local Files" to view all the game files. So here's the solution I found through some trial and error. I noticed a few people struggling to get the screensaver to work, and was surprised by how complex some of the workarounds were.
